Jee Zan Lo was the Orovar Jeddak of Thark, in the kingdom of Horz, 100,000 years before the arrival of John Carter on Barsoom. When the green hordes sacked the city of Thark the Jeddak escaped in an airship to the city of Horz.
When he arrived the Jeddak of Horz had him used in an experiment concerning a form of stasis, once the experiment was concluded the Jeddak was consumed by the scientist.
