Van Tun Bor was an Orovar general in the kingdom of horze, 100,000 years before the arrival of John Carter on Barsoom.
History[]
As the green hordes of barsoom grew in number, Van Tun Bor stood with his army at the last stand of the Orovars at the city of Thark, although the battle was ultimately lost the general was lucky and managed to survive.
After he escaped from the battle-fields upon the back of an abandoned Thoat, eventually he came across a convoy being attacked by marauders. He saved teh convoy and its oxygen supplies and made his way to Horz.
At horz he became increasingly displeased with the Jeddak and his actions, he took it upon himself to save the Orovar peoples. He led them into underground catacombs, in the process he had to fight ulsios and the Jeddaks soldiers. Ultimately he secured the future of the Orovar race but lost his life in the process.
