Gagarr was a green martian who was part of the force who abducted Dejah Thoris two years after John Carters arrival on Barsoom. Apparently it was his job to beat Dejah Thoris, and he seemed fairly sadistic and cruel. Naturally John Carter wasted no time in killing Gagarr.
